Well, I just got back from the Maya's doctor this afternoon and I am on the verge of tears! My little baby girl had to get 3 shots and she definitley hated them. She turned bright red and was screaming her head off. It's funny though, once we got out of the office and down to the first floor she was sound asleep. I guess it didn't bother her too much. Now she is just sleeping it off and relaxing.
Thanksgiving was great! It was so nice to see our family and to just hang out. Wednesday we went grocery shopping for our Thanksgiving dinner with Gramma and Papa. That night Nick went to scouts for a couple of hours while Gramma made us dinner; breaded pork chops, asparagus, & sweet potatoes. YUM! On Thursday the pumpkin & pecan pies were prepared and some of the salads. That afternoon Scott, Pat, & Jenna flew in from California. Once they got to our house we chatted awhile and then decided we needed to eat dinner. The only place open was a chinese buffet down the street, even Jet's Pizza was closed! The food was pretty good but I got sick from the salad bar. Friday was spent preparing the rest of Thanksgiving dinner and shopping for table linens at Target. We got some really cute things there. The dinner was delicious, we had plenty of leftovers for Turkey sandwiches the next day. Nick and Scott worked on our half bath; they installed a new mirror and pedestal sink. It looks great! On Saturday we took Maya for a walk in her stroller and enjoyed the nice weather, it was in the 50's all weekend. That night we ate a bunch of snacks and ordered Jet's to go with the USC game. We all had a great time.
