Our Mini-Mommy

Maya loves taking care of her babies, stuffed animals, and the people around her. Last week we went over to our neighbor's house for a playdate with their little 2 year old daughter. At one point the other little girl collapsed on her mom's lap and was just sobbing about something. Maya looked at her with the most concerned little face and walked over to pat her back. I can't believe how much they know and understand at such a young age. I hope that she never loses that about her. My mom taught her to say "Baby" while she was visiting us last month and Maya hasn't stopped saying it! I try and get her to say words all the time but she won't do it for me! Gotta love that the Grandma's can get them to do it. Anyway, she gets a bit confused as to what exactly a "baby" is. If I ask her where the baby is she will either A) go get her dolly or B) follow the kitties around and say "baby, baby" . It is so adorable!

I made a video of her saying 'baby' in the tub, pictures of her feeding her teddy bear, and how she entertains herself when I'm busy. She spent about 1/2 an hour pulling all of her jammies out of her dresser then she'd put them back in. Sorry for my annoying voice on the video!

Your daughter is seriously so CUTE! I just read your comment on my blog and I would love to hear what your husband thinks about the Mazda5 and any advice he has, and also if your serious of COURSE I would LOVE to hear about any special deals!! Seriously, driving the car I have now is a hazard to society ;). Hope you're not too freezing in Michigan!
