I'm Hidin'

This is how we've been spending a lot of our time lately. I cover my eyes and count to 3 and Maya finds a place to "hide". She usually just covers her face and doesn't realize I can still see her even though she can't see me! She is so funny. I will ask "Maya where are you!?!" and she yells back, "I'm Hidin'".

Nick just finished priming and painting M's new big girl room and it looks pretty cute so far. Kids like BRIGHT colors, right? I was hoping for more of a butter-cream yellow but we ended up with a school bus color! Maya loves it in there though and she she always talks about her "new room". We still need to pick up her daybed and mattress then we'll be all set.

Nick and I have been married for 14 years. We enjoy spending time together and with our little family. Our daughter, Maya, joined us in September, 2006 and we love having her in our home. She is so much fun and keeps us on our toes. Josh was born in March, 2009 and is very much a boy. He loves cars and sports, especially the Detroit Tigers. Cora was born July, 2012 and, with her birth, we are completely outnumbered! She is darling and we love that little peanut. It's so much fun having a boy and 2 girls to raise. We are very blessed.

This is a great way for us to keep in touch with our families since we are so far away from home. Nick graduated from the University of Michigan with his MBA a few years ago, and worked for Ford Motor Company for 12 years before making the switch to Hyundai 2 years ago. He enjoys being outdoors and he especially loves to mountain bike. I love being home with my kids, cooking, reading, and visiting our family members in Utah and California.
