Day 5 of sleeping without the binky...day 5 of NO NAPS!
I hope this is just another phase. The "Binky Fairy" paid us a visit last week and Maya had no problem giving up her beloved binky for some new toys, however, when nap time rolled around she wouldn't fall asleep. She is doing great at night and doesn't even ask for her pacifyer at all, it's just the naps we are struggling with. I tried to wear her out this morning, we went to the zoo, but still no nap.
Right now I am feeling like the trade off is not that great!!
If anyone has tips, pass them along :)

10 xanax/day
LOL...We are in opposite boats. I am trying to teach Luke to take a pacifier... he needs to learn to soothe himself and put himself to sleep, but doesn't usually want to take a pacifier, and won't settle on his own, so we are trying to 'teach' him to use one.
Good Luck!
I was having major problems with my son's binky addiction! My friend absolutely raved about the cut method, and all of the psychology behind it. She emailed me a link to a site that has a free publication ( www.bye-bye-binky.com -supported by advertisements) on dropping the binky, so I tried it. Very cool stuff, worked beautifully for my son. Four days later he did not want anything to do with his binky. Highly recommended! I am also interested in others experiences with this method.... Bella
