Maya's Birthday Time

Maya woke up on her birthday and found the whole living room and dining room covered in streamers and balloons. She was so excited! She kept yelling, "It's my birthday time!!" She would've been happy with that but she was really spoiled this year. Nick went to work early so he could get off at 3 to have dinner with us before going to school that night. We spent the day making a cake, playing with the balloons, and talking with family members who called to wish M a happy birthday.


We started the day off with a really pathetic looking Mickey Mouse pancake.


Nick surprised her with these beautiful flowers. He is the best dad ever!


Enjoying her bday dinner. Nick bbq'd some chicken and we had corn on the cobb, and couscous.

M's new giraffe.


She lives in these things. I am getting tired of them!


Josh was only allowed to sit on her giraffe because he gave her an Ariel Barbie. He liked it too.


Maya loves to organize everything! All of her gifts had a certain place on the floor.



She had a lot of fun! We sure love Maya.
