Can I just say I have the best little boy in the world!?! He has been sleeping horribly lately but during the day he's been pretty happy and his napping is normal. He has had some congestion in his chest for over a month but when I saw the doctor she said it should pass on it's own. Well, we had the worst night ever on Wednesday night, between the 2 kids we were up for hours that night. Maya was just being delusional saying her hands felt "bumpy" she did this again last night, don't know what that's all about and Josh was just clingy and wouldn't sleep unless I stood over his crib with my hand on his chest.
I finally brought him into bed with me but I could tell he just wasn't himself. So I took him in to see the doctor again and the poor boy has double ear infections and the doctor was very concerned about his breathing so she got us a prescription for a Nebulizer breathing machine. He is already doing so much better and slept all night last night. I just can't believe that he has been such a good boy for this long with all he has going on inside of him. The breathing machine will come in handy when he has his wheezing/asthma attacks as well. I feel like the worst mom ever for waiting this long to see the doctor but at least his ears were clear when we went to Urgent Care 2 weeks ago - that makes me feel a little better.

P.S. We had both of the kids weighed yesterday - Josh was 22 pounds and Maya was 29! He's a fatso and Maya is still teeny.

That's hilarious that Nick would teach her that song. You need to get him a cd of primary songs. :) I actually taught Benjamin "We all live in a yellow submarine" in a similar desperate moment, but actually really loved the response he got when he sang it throughout Meijer! There were several people really happy to find a fellow Beatles fan in someone so young. ;) Maybe Benjamin and Maya could do duets.

You don't know how many times we have watched this video. The kids like to repeat it and do the "Maya face" when she sings worms.
