November

My dad was able to come out the day before my birthday this year. It was awesome to spend so much time with them! They are seriously the best parents. We went out to breakfast/lunch at Leo's Coney Island...(a tradition for a few years now)My dad always gets the weirdest things there. Last time he got spaghetti noodles with chili on it. I guess it's a famous dish in Ohio or somewhere, but it looked so gross to me. That night we hung out at home, had a nice dinner, and played Rock Band. The kids helped to decorate my cake and we caught Joshy sneaking most of the frosting. I had a great birthday spending time with my favorite people in the world! The rest of the week we did some activities around here. We went to a movie, bowling, Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum, and spent lots of time sitting on the floor playing with the kids. It was so nice!

Josh was famous for saying, "You wanu play cars...with me...in ma room?" whenever my mom or dad came into the room. He probably asked this question a hundred times and was never turned down!

Two peas in a pod!

My Birthday dinner

Working hard decorating the cake

You just got caught, Mister!

Blanket rides with Papa

Playing barber shop with Papa. My dad is a great sport!

Reading books with Grandma before bed

Maya had a little book where she would keep all of her drawings that she did. When my dad tried to put his drawings into her book she said, "Oh...Papa? Your pictures are really special to me. Maybe you could take them home and keep them safe there?" Basically she didn't want to have his pictures in HER notebook, but didn't want to hurt his feelings. Well, my dad is a huge tease so he kept trying to put them in her book until she finally made it clear she didn't want them. Haha!

Thanks for coming out mom and dad. We had so much fun with you!
