Pregnancy Update - Week 33
I can't believe we only have about 7 weeks before our baby girl arrives! This pregnancy has gone by so quickly. It's been nice and cool here the last few days, which I have appreciated because I know it's going to heat up soon. I am now going in to see the doctor every 2 weeks. At my last appointment my doctor told me I have gained about 21 pounds so far. I felt pretty good about that! I gained a lot more with Maya and Josh, but we'll see how these last few weeks go. I have had a major sweet tooth recently and could sit and eat ice cream all day long. I've been having some major Braxton Hicks contractions over the past few days. They serve as a great reminder as to what my body will be going through in a few short weeks. Yuck. I'm scared this baby will come out as fast, if not faster than Josh did, but I'm sure it will be fine.
The baby moves a TON. Still a lot through the night which keeps me awake, but it's for a good reason. The kids like to watch my belly move and feel for her kicks, but Nick is still freaked out by how alien-like it looks to see my stomach rippling up and down. Too funny.
I have definitely been into the nesting again, but wish I would've started a few months ago! I get tired so easily and it's hard to move around. We couldn't find any bedding we liked on Craigslist, Babies 'R' Us, or Target, so I decided a few weeks ago to start looking at tutorials on how to make a crib skirt and bumper. I was very excited when I saw this beautiful and feminine room on the internet. I started making plans to sew it myself and was pretty close to purchasing some fabric that I liked, but I decided to wait because I have some other baby projects I wanted to finish. So yesterday I was measuring and cutting fabric for this cute car seat canopy and realized after 1 hour that my body just isn't what it used to be!! My back, sides, and belly ached from moving around and bending over too much. I'm just too big. So, feeling discouraged about making the bedding, we decided to check out one more store to see what we could find and we found this beautiful bedding that will be perfect for the nursery. Plus we had a 20% off coupon, which always helps! This weekend we plan to paint her room and start pulling everything together. So exciting!
Here I am with my 33 week belly. I usually feel pretty good about myself until I see my reflection in a store window or go somewhere that has bigger mirrors then we do. Our bathroom mirrors are up really high on the wall so I never know how big I really look! Yikes!!
Here's the bedding, the quilt anyway. The rest of the bedding is more black and white with green accents.

You look so cute!! I'm so glad you found some cute bedding... it really is adorable... I love it!!! Plus, I haven't been able to figure out that other quilt that you were thinking about because my sister was in town this past week... I didn't do much of anything but play with her little baby :). Let me know if you want help finishing your other projects though :). So excited to meet your sweet girl!! We're going to be in Utah for all of July though so I won't get to see her until August, but I'm so excited for you to have her here!!
You look GREAT. You're adorable with your pregnant belly.
I'm so excited for you.
3 children soon.. WOW.. haha... we're probably not far behind. Wasn't it just the other day that our boys were born?
Missing you. Can't wait to see pics of that sweet girl :)
