"Kindergarten Baby Born in the Gravy"

You're probably wondering why I used that as a post title, right? My dad used to always say that to me when I was in Kindergarten. He's a real weirdo.... it always makes me laugh though. Now we have our own little Kindergartner, but she is far from being a baby. I can't believe I am old enough to have a daughter in elementary school, but here we are. It really does seem like just yesterday that our sweet Maya was born. She had a half day yesterday and loved it so much. She came out of class and met up with me with a huge grin on her face and stated, "I met three friends today! One of them is Ellie, just like my cousin. I can't remember the other names but one girl has the same Hello Kitty earrings as me!" That's the only criteria for making new friends I guess. Today was her first full day and she came out of class a little less energetic and a lot more disheveled! Her hair was a mess and her cheeks were all red. I guess she had a very busy day.
