The Ackerson's Visit!!

My sister, Missy, and her family joined us a for a visit in Michigan the first week of November. We had a blast! On Thursday morning we got up and Maya started getting ready for school. She thought it was so cool that her cousins were there to say goodbye to her before her day started. We didn't want to do too many fun things while she was off learning, so we stayed home and relaxed. My niece, Ellie, made a bucket list of all the things we wanted to do during their visit. After picking Maya up at school we headed to the bowling alley for an evening of fun.
The next morning, Miss woke up feeling sick so Allen and I took the kids, minus Maya, to the Ann Arbor Natural History Museum for a few hours.
Ellie was a great helper pushing Cora.
The kids and I played some games while Miss was still feeling yucky. Fun family time! On Saturday we went to Greenfield Village. Missy was feeling much better!
Missy made me a yummy cake and we celebrated my Birthday a few days early.
On Sunday we all went to church and witnessed a beautiful blessing given by Nick to baby Cora. She looked so gorgeous in her little dress and was an absolute angel during the entire blessing. Nick said when he opened his eyes at the end that Cora was looking up at him with a huge smile on her face. We are so grateful for her, and I'm so grateful that Nick was able to give her a blessing.
On Monday we went to the Henry Ford Museum. I only took a few pictures...After that Nick, Allen and all of the kids went outside to rake the leaves. Thanks for your help guys!
The kids had fun playing and rough-housing in the basement. One day, Aunt Missy joined in on the fun and then Joshy boy wouldn't leave her alone the rest of the trip. He loved playing with her.
Thanks for a fun visit Ackerson Fam! We love you and we're so happy you could make it out!

Cute pics! I'm glad you were able to have so much fun with your family here! Cora's blessing was beautiful, that is so sweet how she was smiling up at Nick after, how precious, what a doll!
