Studying and playing

Nick's test is coming up this next week! Think happy thoughts for him. He has been studying so hard these past couple of months and I think he's just ready to start school and forget about all the stress that comes with being accepted into the business school. We looked on-line to see what type of companies come to U of Michigan to recruit recent graduates. There were a lot of really good companies but my favorite was the Disney Company, they had a ton of Corporate Finance positions! Wouldn't that be cool!? Free tickets galore! Plus being near family would be great. I am definitly starting to feel like we're too far away, especially when I think about my nieces and nephews growing up so fast.

Maya and I are keeping busy. I finally started her scrapbook and I've already done 3 pages! I'm so proud of myself. Maya has started this new thing of waking up once a night and she'll just scream. We go in to make sure she's okay but usually the only thing that will calm her down is if I rock her for awhile. I really don't mind doing it; I just don't want it to become a habit. The other night we were just rocking and I tried to burn the image in my head because she is just growing up so fast!

The other day she found the toilet paper roll and pulled the whole roll onto the floor. I just laughed and took some pictures of her. She is so funny; I knew it would happen at some point. Oh and she loves the dishwasher now. Whenever she hears me open it and load/unload it she comes crawling in and pulls herself up to "help" me. What a sweetie. Here are some pictures of her...

"Uh-oh, mom caught me!"

Sorry for the bare bum! I was changing her diaper and she took off for the dishwasher! I had to get a picture.

These are her new friends: the lamb and bear. She takes them everywhere! It makes it pretty difficult to crawl.

So CUTE! Why do babies love dishwashers so much? I hope Nick does great on his test! Yeah for going back to school! Go Wolverines! Too bad footballs not going so great this year. We really need to get together. Sorry this is so random, talk to you later!
