Some good news, Maya is cutting her second tooth! She finally is getting some teeth and she loves "brushing" them, but mostly she likes the kiddy toothpaste. She has been a bit cranky and clingy but she is still sleeping pretty much through the night. Sometimes she'll wake up at 5:00 and think it's time to get up but she has gotten really good at going back to sleep on her own. Although she doesn't have a lot of teeth, Maya has become very talented at eating several different foods. Right now her favorites are; ravioli, spaghetti with sauce, broccoli, french toast, carrots, and sweet potatoes.

Maya's hair is getting SO long. I can't wait until it's all about the same length so she doesn't look like a "mullet monster," as Nick calls her. Today I was experimenting with it and gave her two little pig-tails. She looked so CUTE! I put some pictures of her in the video above. She loves playing downstairs in the basement(which looks disgusting because it is disgusting, it was our workshop when we were doing all of the closet and door painting, hence the paint all over the floor.) because it's so open and she can push her little truck around and get some practice walking. Today was especially cute because of her piggytails flowing in the wind. :) There's an example in the video.

We are glad that Nick is done with all of his studying and prepping for school, we get to have him all to ourselves again! Last weekend we stained our back deck and it looks so awesome. I wonder how I'll put him to work this weekend? Just kidding, not really. He has an in-person interview at U of M this Thursday and then it's back to the waiting game to find out if he gets in.
