Normally we buy the huge box of Huggies diapers at Costco. We've always had the greatest success with that brand. Only an occasional leak at night and never any poopy leaks. I went to pick up a small pack of them at Target and decided to do some price comparisons. We had tried Pampers before and had no luck. The generic brand was also terrible! She had the biggest diaper rash I have ever seen in my life, not that I've seen a ton of diaper rashes but still!
Was the small price tag worth my child being in pain and not to mention the countless leaks? No, not really. So that's why we stuck with Huggies and never budged until now. I noticed that the Luvs brand had a "Bear Hug Stretch" to help stop leaks as well as the Ultra Leak Guards. They were $6.77 for a 40 pack whereas the Huggies were $9.88 for a 40 pack. $3.00 is a BIG deal! It really adds up.
The result....no leaks, no diaper rash, and an extra 3 bucks to buy a pretzel and sprite at the Target snack bar!!!

That's exactly why Benjamin has been in Luvs pretty much his entire life since the Huggies I got at my baby shower ran out. And I like how they smell! (when empty) :)
Thanks for the advice. I'm always trying to save a few bucks. We will have to give them a try.
