My Latest Obsession

So I admit, I have a new obsession! I love Craigslist!!! But more specifically, finding baby things on Craigslist. I haven't successfully purchased anything yet but I have gotten close! I am just waiting to hear back from the seller that has this listed:



We went to Nick's department BBQ on Friday and at the house they had one of these play cubes and Maya really liked it. I looked online at various stores and found that most were selling for $129 new. Too much, I think. The only downside to CL is that I am pretty impatient sometimes and I get frustrated if people don't get back to me fast enough.

Everything is good here, just waiting to find out if Nick will have a job come August. A certain un-named company also took away tuition reimbursement which was a big enough blow but now we have to worry about his job security too. I know this is happening everywhere across the country, just didn't think it could possible happen to us. (Naive, much?)

Maya is doing great and is so much fun right now. She finally went to Nursery on Sunday without crying!! She even SKIPPED into class! I was really impressed and relieved. She is talking up a storm and learning so much everyday. Her favorite sayings right now are:

"It's a ball....see? Ya see? Ya see?" (She'll keep saying "Ya see?" until my patience is gone.)

She also picked up "Okay" somewhere and it's my new favorite because she answers all of my questions with it. It's funny because she will be doing something fun with Nick or me and when we stop she'll say, "More? Okay" So she kind of answers her own questions with it too. It's really cute.

We love her so much and can't wait to take her to California at the end of the month and show all of our family members how much she has grown and progressed over the past year.
