Our Trip Home

We had a great time in Utah over the holidays! My mom and I had so many ideas of what we were going to do during our visit (Thanksgiving Point, The Zoo lights, Temple Square, ride Trax, go to dinner and a movie, etc. etc. )but we ended up staying close to home because it was cold outside and, let's face it, I am getting huge and didn't feel up to doing much. Here are some things we did do:

Played in the snow while Papa Stan shoveled the driveway. (Tara's Dad)

Ate Creamies shirtless, well, only Maya went without a shirt.

Gave pedicures to those patient enough, or crazy enough, to receive them! My mom is the best grandma ever.

Hot!

Spent Christmas with some of our most favorite people in the world. Our families.

Watching my mom and dad play Guitar Hero was classic! They are good sports and we all had a great time playing. Nick had a little too much fun. I'm thankful he has other things on his mind right now or else he might be tempted to buy a Wii system.

Went tubing on the coldest day possible. Seriously, it reminded me of MI weather.

I love my mama! Good thing we get along so well, we spent a whole month together and she'll be coming to help us in MI when the new baby arrives.

We are lucky to be so close to our family members. Maya had a lot of fun playing with her cousins and just being a kid. She must be so bored with me now that we are home. This is a cute picture of my sister, Missy and Maya. We were able to spend a lot of time with her family and I'm so grateful for that. Maya and Carson (my nephew) got along the best out of all the cousins! I was way surprised. Everytime I couldn't get Maya to take a nap I'd tell her that she'd get to play with Carson if she took a nap, worked like a charm!

And finally, these are the new additions to the family. My sister in law and I are due about 3 weeks apart. She is due February 16th with a little girl. We are excited to meet her! Here are the cousins....kind of.

That's all I am doing for now. This took forever, I should've done another slideshow because there are a lot of other pictures that were way cute. Maybe tomorrow? We had a great trip and now we are just getting into the swing of things again. We find out next week if Nick will still be employed and then after that we are going to focus on this little baby. I have an ultrasound tomorrow to make sure everything still looks good and I can't wait to see him. Hope you all had a great holiday!

Looks like you had a great time. I love the first picture of Maya-she has such a cute expression on her face.

I hope that you are also feeling well. The last few weeks of pregnancy can feel so long. Take care!
