Easter Weekend

We had a lot of fun this weekend. We kicked it off by going to the zoo on Saturday (along with everybody else in Detroit). It would've been a perfect day if it hadn't been so dang windy and cold! Maya was still pretty pleasant though and Josh slept the entire time while I held him in the Baby Bjorn. We decided to buy a pass this year because Maya is really into animals and with how expensive it is to go one time you can pay for the pass if you go twice! We will definitely be making more trips back, just not on a holiday weekend where it will take us 45 minutes just to get into the parking lot! After the zoo we went to lunch and hung out at home. On Sunday we went to church and then came home and Maya searched for her Easter basket. I have to say, holidays are getting more and more fun as Maya gets older. She ate so much candy but was still sleepy enough to take a 2 hour nap before dinner. After we ate a yummy dinner made by my studly husband we dyed Easter eggs and were again reminded of how independent and determined our little girl is. She does not want help with anything!
