We took the kids to see the doctor this morning because Joshua's little tongue was all white and we wanted to make sure Maya didn't have another ear infection. I'm glad I had Nick's help and that our pediatrician's office was open on Saturday! Maya is fine and other than a little cold she is healthy. (Dangit! I thought that was why she has been so irritable and cranky)She had some really funny moments today though and we enjoyed being together as a family. Josh, on the other hand, has thrush. I had heard the word before but didn't know what it meant. His tongue is NASTY looking and I kind of get grossed out every time I feed him. Poor little guy, I know it's not his fault. We got a prescription for him and it should clear up in a few days. I guess he got infected from an antibiotic I was taking for an infection.

Anyway, we were very surprised to see how much weight he has gained in his 4 weeks of life. He was 7 pounds 5 ounces when we left the hospital and today he weighed in at 10 pounds 14 ounces!!! If he keeps gaining weight like this he is going to outweigh his dainty "big" sister in no time.
