Park Days

Those of you that live in Michigan know what awesome weather we had this weekend! This kind of weather has been long awaited and even though the next couple of days are going to be rainy and cold we definitely took advantage of the warm stuff on Friday and Saturday. On Friday morning I packed up the kids and we headed to the park for a couple of hours of fun and some lunch. Maya is a lot more fun at the park this year as she actually plays on stuff and doesn't just walk around and stare at people. There were some older boys there that were teasing her and making her cry so I had to be the most awesome-est mom ever and stand up for her. I can't believe their parents weren't doing anything about their children's behavior! Anyway, here are some pictures...

This is what Josh thought of his first big trip to the park :)

We got home at naptime and after a LONG nap Maya woke up and was already asking about the park! We waited for Nick to get home and then we headed out again. Nick took Maya in the bike trailer and I went and got some dinner for us so we could have a picnic. Here are pictures from that trip to the park!

Saturday we spent the morning running errands. We have been trying to find a double stroller so I can take both of the kids on walks while Nick is at work or school. We just couldn't find any that we liked until we started thinking about a jogging stroller. We found a nice one at Babies R Us and picked that up this weekend. I am so excited to use it when it warms up again! Here are the kids testing it out...

Saturday night Nick and I had a nice date minus the kids! It was the first time we officially left Josh with someone and it was actually a little easier than I thought it would be. Thanks Carla and Jake for offering to watch them! We had a nice dinner and just enjoyed hanging out without feeling like we have to entertain anybody.

Mean Bullies! I can't change my flight, so I will be there on the 30th. I was thinking about Orlando, if you want to go I will go too.

loving the stroller!! We have the some one, the only thing is I wish it was more compactable! Josh looks more and more like a Giordano. I loved Maya's hair this day at the park, very cute!
