Anniversary

Yesterday (the 25th) was our 6th Wedding Anniversary! All day I kept thinking, "right now 6 years ago I was __________________" and then filling in the blank. I can't believe it has been that long, it really feels like a year ago or something. I love being married to Nick, it was the best decision of my life! He is my best friend and is so much fun to be with and he's also very sensitive to my feelings...and a good cook, he's hot, he's ambitious, shall I go on!?! Anyway, we celebrated all day long and it was a lot of fun. First I packed up the kids around lunch time then we picked Nick up from work and went to lunch at Rio Wraps. It was good and I splurged and ate things I normally wouldn't because I'm nursing. So far, Josh is fine, just a little more spit up than usual.

After dropping Nick off at work we came home and all took naps. Then when Nick got home we headed over to a little carnival that our city put on. Maya was just barely big enough to go on some of the rides and I can't believe how much fun it was! At first she was a little timid and then the daredevil came out in her! She even became a pro and went on some rides alone. I kept thinking, this is a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, everyone is happy and enjoying each other. No fits were thrown and we got to spend 3 wonderful hours together. Josh was really good and sat in his stroller the entire time - he did not make ONE peep!! We all slept good last night! Maya loved watching the little circus, she couldn't take her eyes off all the action, not even to have her picture taken!

After the circus it was announced that they would be selling balloons near the stage. Before I could say anything, Nick darted up there to buy one for Maya. He is so cute with her.



And this is how little Josh was the entire time we were out! What a good boy.



And, this is very random, it has nothing to do with the carnival but I thought it was pretty dang cute. We had to take him out pretty quickly because the stroller just about broke.
