Kensington Lake

Back on June 26th we headed out to the lake after Nick got home from work. It was fun and a perfect day to go, the beach wasn't crowded and it wasn't hot and humid. Maya loved swimming with all of the "duck poops" in the water...not sure what they really were but the water was pretty murky and gross. We found out later why no one was swimming in our little area, the more popular areas were roped off with nets so the water wasn't nearly as dirty. Oops!

It was nice to get out and see more of beautiful Michigan, we have lived here for nearly 5 years and this was the first time to go swimming in a lake. That's sad. We will be doing it again soon!
