1. The computer is downstairs now, it's not as convenient for me to sit down and type.
2. It's summer time and we are outside most of the time.
3. Nick got me a new phone that has the Internet on it, I get a notification every time I get an email so I don't get on the computer nearly as much as I used it. It's awesome!!
3. I feel overwhelmed by how far behind I am and don't know where to start.
4. It's too time-consuming. All day long I am doing something for someone else, when I have a few minutes to myself I have to make the choice to A) shower or B) blog. You see my dilema. Right?
So! I am going to start fresh.
Joshy started cereal awhile ago...my boy loves to eat! He also started some solids over the past few weeks, he has had peas, green beans, applesauce, & sweet potatoes. His favorite so far is peas, just like his big sister.
He has started sleeping through the night a little more consistently which has been a huge blessing! I love to sleep and usually get pretty mean and cranky if I don't get enough. He usually sleeps about 9 hours but last night he was extra sweet and gave us 11. We love him! Maya has decided that she loves him too, she loves to be close to him and is constantly asking where "Baby Doshy" is. Whenever she is eating a snack or meal at the table we have to put Josh in his exercauser right next to Maya so she can talk to him and make him smile. She is still getting the "he" and "his" thing down so we'll often hear her say something like, "Look mom, I made her smile, she's happy!!"
...and she is a happy boy :)
We went to a parade a couple of weeks ago with some friends and their kids. Our husbands were all in a course together and had to attend class on a Saturday so this was a nice way to get out of the house and do something fun. We were right under one of the speakers so it was a bit loud but we still enjoyed it!
Maya has really started to become a little "artist" here is a picture she drew on her dry-erase board. I was really impressed with it!
If you can't tell what it is, it's a little face with hair and what looks like a body, not sure if that was intentional or not.
We have been doing "Joy School" with Benjamin and another little boy, Max, over the past month or so. It's been great. Every 2nd or 3rd week I get to have all of the kids over to teach them a lesson. Last week we talked about letters. I had a bunch of letters in a bowl and then I covered them up with rice. The kids had to dig for a letter and match it up with the big letters I had placed on the ground. Well, dumb me, I forgot to put the bowl of rice away after the kids left so it was just sitting on the kitchen floor when I took Josh into his room for a nap. Of course, Maya was being very quiet so I got nervous. This is what welcomed me when I came out to check on her:
She looks really pretty here...haha, course I couldn't get mad. I asked her to help me clean it up and she said, "I don't fink so. It's too easy for me." Um..rrrright.
Another time we learned about shapes, this is what we were supposed to have for snack time but the kids just wanted to eat everything separately. They turned out really cute though!
And lastly, guess who loves artichokes!?!? Our little Maya. Nick was so stoked about this because artichokes are a big thing in his family. He kept saying, "take a picture! We need to send this to my gramma!" Cute.

I think blogging is still popular, but it's just so much easier to do in the winter when you're inside more and the kids naturally go to bed a little earlier.
I love our little joy school too. It's great having them over and it's great on the weeks I don't! :)
To answer your question on my blog - no, Bella hasn't stopped ripping her hair out. She did it just today again. :(
