Smarty Pants

I love the way Maya's little mind works. Our neighbor's have a daughter who is quite a bit older than M so they always offer to give us her old stuff. They gave us a little karaoke machine that just needed some new batteries. Maya kept trying to play with it and turn it on last week and I finally told her that it needed new batteries and it won't work until we buy some at the store. Well, she must have remembered seeing a battery somewhere and decided to try and fix it herself.



I didn't notice it until today when I was cleaning the basement. I picked up the machine and heard a rattle coming from the cassette area. This had me laughing all afternoon!
