Doctor Appointments

Both of the kids had their doctor appointments in the past month. One for Maya's 3 year check up and one for Josh's 6 month appointment.

Maya is 28 lbs. and is 36 inches (25th percentile for both)



We love Maya so much. I can't believe she is almost 3!! As cliche as it sounds it DOES seem like yesterday that she was born. She is at such a fun stage right now. I love having conversations with her and I love that she can ask questions and answer them too. Here are some of her favorite things right now:

Making playdough pancakes
Chocolate milk
Pizza with white dip (ranch)
Fruit
"Crackweers"
Any snack...even after we have a huge dinner she will ask for a snack. Kinda surprising that she is so little.
Making Josh laugh
Her baby stuffed animals
Wearing princess dresses
Anything girly :)
Swimming
Arguing with her parents
Getting a yellow reeses pieces for a peepee and a brown one for a #2
Singing or humming ALL THE TIME!
She likes to spell her name

She is so much fun and even though she is constantly challenging us and testing her limits we wouldn't take her any other way!

Josh is 18 lbs. 7 oz.(60%) and 28 inches (90%)



Josh is our little sweet guy. We can't get enough of him and have really enjoyed watching his personality come out as he grows up. Maya is his absolute favorite person in the world. Even when she is being mean to him and telling him not to smile at her he will look up at her and give a little chuckle anyway. I try and try to make him laugh like she does but have not been successful thus far!

Rolls over (back to belly)
Usually sleeps an 8 or 9 hour stretch, eats, then sleeps a little more
Loves pears
Loves to eat and sometimes will keep eating until he ends up puking!
Holds his own bottle
Is almost sitting up independently
Puts everything in his mouth
Likes to gnaw on just about everything

It's awesome to be parents. We love our kiddos so much!
