Today for Maya's afternoon snack she requested peanut butter. She didn't want it on bread or anything, she just wanted to dish it out with a spoon. So I gave her the spoon and what was left in the peanut butter jar (there wasn't much left) and let her have at it. After a few minutes I started to think twice so I told her she had eaten enough and she needed to put the spoon on the counter and the PB jar back in the pantry. She whined a little bit but finally agreed. Ten minutes later I was battling a fussy 7 month old and leaving Maya to play by herself. She walked into the kitchen and became very quiet. I didn't think much of it and went about trying to soothe Josh. I went to the kitchen to find a teether and I hear this little tiny voice say, "I'll put it away mom. I'll put it away." I turned around and didn't see her at all. I got kind of nervous until I saw what she was doing:

Sneaky girl was underneath the desk in our kitchen with the peanut butter, spoon, and a flashlight...??? I just busted up laughing. I seriously couldn't get mad at her, it was the one thing that made me happy today. I have been so cranky and short with everyone lately!

LOL... That is hilarious... you're right.. how can you get mad at her for that. :D
Can't wait until Luke is old enough to do crap like that. LOL...
That is so cute - the princess dress really tops it off. What's the reason for the stress lately? Send them over here sometime. I'd be happy to give you a break.
At least it was a "healthy" snack and not a bag of chocolate chips like happens at my house!
ha ha! I can totally see her doing that and then nervously saying I will put it back mom.
oh that is too funny!
