Fall in Michigan

There are a lot of things I do like about Michigan. Sometimes I complain because we are so far away from our family but, really, this place is beautiful! That makes up for being homesick...just little bit. My favorite part about living in Michigan is FALL!! There are trees everywhere and as they start to change colors, HOLY COW. It really is breathtaking. The last few weeks have been fun. We have visited the Apple Orchard 3 times and have eaten about 3 dozen cinnamon sugar doughnuts in the process.

Our first trip was with the Dangerfield family for Family Home Evening:

Maya feels pretty cool when she gets to play with the older girls.

The next time Maya and I got to go for her school field trip. It was a great time but freezing! She got to go on a little tractor ride and pick her very own apple.

The last time we went with some more friends. We went on a Saturday and it was packed! Maya got to pick out a tiny pumpkin. We are sad that our friends, the Geddes', have left us. Our little boys are only 2 months apart so it would've been fun to have them grow up together but we are happy Jake found work in North Carolina. Jordan and Chandra and family came too!

We are officially done with cider for the year!
