What's been going on....

I haven't posted in awhile. Thought I would take a minute to write about what we've been up to.

**Nick has been on break from school and we've been having fun spending time together and not worrying about his schedule, grades, etc. He decided I deserved an early Mother's Day gift, a new bike. It is awesome! We went on our first ride yesterday with the kids and had a blast.

**We've had Nick's dad and step-mom, Pat, in town since Wednesday. It's always fun to have guests! Thursday we just hung out, took Maya to school, had a nice dinner, (Pat is an AMAZING cook!) and then after the kids went to bed we watched Avatar. Yesterday we went to the zoo and got there right when it opened, it was awesome to have the place practically to ourselves. Then we got home and ate fish tacos from Taco Del Mar. Pat and I went shopping today, she likes to spoil me and the kids when she's in town. We had so much fun! Nick and his dad are out golfing 18 holes now.

Pat is a wonderful grandma and does especially well with Maya. She doesn't take crap from her or let her get away with much.

My kids are 3.5 years old and 14 months. Seems like the 14 month old would require more attention, patience, etc. but this little boy is just so sweet. He sat in his stroller for most of our zoo trip and was happy as can be. Maya was whiny, demanding, and just plain obnoxious! Funny how different they are.

The Polar bears were very active...they are my favorite to watch.

**I just registered for my first college class in, oh, 7 years! Now that Nick is almost done with his MBA, I got excited about going back to school. I am just doing on-line courses to start out with and then we'll see what happens later on. Once I amd done with my core classes from Schoolcraft, I'd like to get into a dental program to become a dental hygienist. I'm really looking forward to it!

**Josh has been healthy since his last hospital stay. What a huge blessing. It makes such a difference when your babies are healthy and happy. I can't believe the difference in him. He just scoots around all day with a huge grin on his face. Love that little boy so much.

I'm so glad that Josh is doing better. That is so sad that he has had such a hard time. I hope things continue to look up for him.

Good luck with the college class!

Glad to hear Josh is doing better, love their little helmets. Kids in helmets remind me of little bobble heads.
