Summa Summa Summa TIME

I love Summer! We took the kids to the annual city carnival on Thursday and had such a blast. Maya grew a whole 3 or so inches since last year so she went on most rides by herself. She got so excited for each one but I think her favorite was the big slide with dad. Josh was so good to sit in his stroller to do a little people watching the whole night. When we left, Nick saw the ball-tossing game where you can win goldfish. We played and ended up winning 3 fish...YUCK. I don't life fish. They smell and you can't cuddle with them. Maya was stoked though and she named them, Sally, Sally, and Sally Boy. She is really creative with stuff like that. :) One already died but hopefully the other ones will last a little longer.

I love that we live close enough to walk each year.

Nick and Maya on their first ride. A spinning apple with a silent, single-rider teenager inside. Nick's facial expressions were hilarious every time they came by me...you could tell it was pretty uncomfortable.

Josh practicing his standing while Maya was going on a train ride. Every time she went by he would yell, ' AYA!" So cute.

The next night was our 7 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Can't believe we've been married that long. It was such a stressful day so we didn't really celebrate until Saturday night. Nick went and rented some movies (Twilight, LOL) for us and picked up some dinner. It was so nice to just sit in the basement like we were away for the night. Love that boy so much!

On our honeymoon in the Bahamas. We'd like to go back again next year - or somewhere nice after Nick graduates!
