Father's Day - Josh's Neurology Appointment - other stuff

When the pediatrician was checking out Josh's legs one day she was a little concerned that he wasn't putting any weight on it so she recommended we see a neurologist. We went to the appointment and after an hour long lesson on neurology disorders the doctor requested we send Josh to physical therapy so we can learn some exercises that will help his legs gain more muscle. No joke, the exact DAY we took him to the doctor he started pulling himself up to furniture and letting me walk around with him. Before that day he would just have "noodle legs" and wouldn't even try to hold his weight up. I know he'll walk when he's ready and that's completely fine with me, I'm just happy there isn't anything else going on with him.

We have been spending a lot of time outside and the kids are actually starting to play together.

This is with no encouragement from me. Yikes!

Maya and her crazy pose, Josh being sweet.

For Father's Day and Mother's Day we get to choose either a nap or to sleep in that day. Nick slept in until 9am but Maya couldn't take it anymore so she woke him up. Nick picked out some new running shoes for his "big" gift and then me and the kids got him an outfit and some Propel waters. Nick is a wonderful dad and loves his kids so much. He is very invloved in every aspect of raising our kids and is so supportive when it comes to his babies. I know he would do anything for them.

Maya painted a little birdhouse for him.

I'm so glad he's okay. Kids just have their own time-table, I guess. Are you still considering going to PT, though, even just for ideas of things to try?
