On Sunday There was a huge BBQ with all of our extended family members. It was nice to have one night to get together with everyone, and see those people we haven't seen since our wedding reception. On Monday we spent a few hours at the beach. Maya was cautious at first but that didn't last too long! I stepped on a bee and got my first bee sting ever, ouch! Josh sat under a big umbrella with Papa Scott and ate PB&J and chips while trying to keep all grains of sand off of his body. Tuesday was a relaxing day for me, Pat, and the kids. Nick and his dad played 18 holes of golf and were gone for most of the day. Wednesday we went to Malibu to visit Gramma Dotty and Papa Tony. We had a great dinner and went down to the beach with the kids. Lots of good memories! Thursday we went to Knott's Berry Farm! It was fun, but really hot! The kids did great though and were really patient while the adults went on some of the scary rides. Thanks to Gramma Pat and Papa Scott for watching them! Friday - um....I think the boys went golfing again and we just hung out. Saturday we had a nice dinner at the house with close relatives. And Sunday we came home! We had a wonderful time and we were so happy that the kids did so well with adjusting quickly.
