The month of December

I swear, these months are just flying by! We had a very nice December. It got a little hectic at times with parties and different activities but overall it was good. Maya had a little program for school where they sang a few holiday songs and then we got to have a cookie reception after. I felt so frustrated with the program because I got there early like they asked us to but because Maya was in the front row (little shorty), I couldn't see her the entire time! Oh well, there will be a lot of this programs in the future to look forward to.

Nick put the Christmas lights up early in the month when it was still decent weather. The kids had fun "helping".





The kids got cool new ornaments from Grandma V and Granny Moe. Josh was thrilled with his Cars ornaments!





We went and hung out with friends on Christmas Eve. I got a new triple barrel curling iron and tried it out on Maya. Too bad I turned it up too high and her hair smelled burnt for a day or two - even after washing it! It looks pretty though.
