Halloween

On the Saturday before Halloween our ward had a trunk or treat for the kids. I wanted to do something really cute and creative with our trunk but didn't end up doing anything. Maybe next year...?
Halloween day was CRAZY busy. I knew my sister's family would be flying in that night and we didn't have any groceries, so I made the mistake of going grocery shopping while Josh was at school. Because of my poor planning, I had to feed a screaming Cora in the parking lot of J's school with milk and ice cream in the back of the van. Then she had a blow-out while I was feeding her and I didn't have very many wipes to clean her up with. It was a disaster. I ran into the school to watch his class do a little program and realized that either my clock in the car was slow or the teacher started the program 5 minutes early so I missed a bunch of songs, but oh well. Our little man was the cutest super hero around!
After that we ran home and put the groceries away, made a quick lunch and headed out the door again to watch Maya in her school's costume parade. I love, love, love the fact that she still gets so excited when we come to support her in whatever it is she is doing. I hope that doesn't change anytime soon.
Our cute friends Angela and Molly joined us for a fun night of trick or treating. Molly came with us last year too and it was so fun to see how different she was this year. She was all about getting more candy! We're so happy they came along. My kids LOVE Molly.
Maya and Laura, best friends
Hope you all had a nice Halloween!
