Maya lost her second tooth on June 23rd while we were in Utah. We were having a big water balloon fight and she used her teeth to try and break into one but her tooth came out instead! She was so excited! The tooth fairy brought her a $2 bill and a pack of gum.
This year Maya expressed that she might want to try soccer. I quickly signed her up because, so far, she hasn't shown interest in doing ANYTHING. We had so much fun watching her learn how to play. She was very scared and timid at first, but with each game she gained more and more confidence. Even though she didn't LOVE soccer, we're proud of her for trying something new and sticking with it through the end. We'll see if she wants to play again next time.
J was hilarious at her soccer games. This kid is so lazy and stubborn. I asked him if he'd like to play soccer and he responded, "No banks, I like to just sit in my chair and have the snacks you bring for me."
On Sunday night Nick found a little frog in the back yard. Maya was in love and named it, "Veyonce". (Like Beyoncé with a V) She would not leave that poor frog alone and wanted to keep it in a container all night, but her friends next door finally convinced her to let ol' Veyonce go. She wants a real pet so badly.
So long, Veyonce!
