Rolly Polly

Maya started really rolling over and moving around about 2 months ago but over the past month she decided she hates to get her diaper changed. She will be lying on her back and I'll start to put the diaper on and off she goes!! It's so cute to see her little bum crawling away from me, but frustrating at the same time! The other night before bed I was so fed up with her that I put my left leg over her belly to keep her down and that seemed to help but she was not happy. I left her room so I could release some of that frustration and I headed to the kitchen to make her bottle. Her crying still hadn't stopped, in fact, it was getting louder and sounded closer and closer. She was screaming her head off and crawling to come find us in the kitchen. Here is a picture of it. Notice how red she is, that's how her daddy gets when he's mad too! Must be that Italian blood. :)





Although she has her moments, Maya has been such a pleasant little girl lately. I love spending every day with her and just going places as a family. We recently put up a gate because she is really getting quick now that she can crawl. Here are some funny pictures of her.

Notice she is pinching one of the cats as she makes this crazy face!



Maya does this funny face where she scrunches her nose and snorts at the same time. Nick's family started calling it her "Scrunchy Face". Here is an extreme example of it, I love all those gums!!
