Easter and other fun times

We had a very nice Easter last weekend. The kids got spoiled rotten. It was fun to see their excitement (well, Maya's excitement) as the Easter egg clues were read and we'd get closer to finding out where the baskets were hidden.


Maya's favorite gift by far was the 2nd Chipmunk's movie. We've watched it at least once every day and I actually like it too :)


Josh's favorite gift ... probably the Twizzlers or Fruit Loops!

We had a roast, vegetables, potatoes and gravy, & french bread for dinner. It was really yummy! Oh yeah, we did Easter egg dye too, I forgot.



Nick's family sent some Easter gifts for the kids. Thank you! They loved them.


Oh, boy! She hit the jackpot. This girl has such a sweet-tooth!


This was J's first reaction when he picked up the new baby duck. He is such a sweet boy.

We've had some really nice weather over the past week or so (except today, which was FREEZING!) which means we've been spending lots of time outside. Mostly to the park with friends or going on walks. Maya decided she really likes to push Josh in the swing so she's been doing that for me a lot lately. Josh doesn't look to thrilled about it but he did enjoy it. His hair is getting out of control and he needs a haircut desperately!






I wanted to share this picture just because it makes me laugh.

We were out running errands the other day and stopped at Petco to buy some food for the cats. Maya was getting worn out so I told her she could pick out a treat for being such a good girl on all of our stops. She picked out some nasty sour string stuff and tried to convince me that she liked it. She ended up putting it in my diaper bag and I forgot that the package was even in there. Later on I was putting some laundry away and the kids were playing in the living room, so I thought. Josh had crawled into the kitchen and pulled out the sour candy and was eating it. He actually liked it but Maya was NOT willing to give up the candy, that she didn't like in the first place, to her kid brother! She came in and said, "Oh, sorry buds. That's my candy, buds. This will give you a tummy ache." Here he is before getting caught red-handed by Maya.

We went to the Ann Arbor Hand's On Museum today with some friends and I want to post pictures but I think it'll have to wait until next time!
